WhatsApp has been working on multi-device service for quite a while now. This feature is going to be a significant one for WhatsApp as it’ll support using one account on multiple devices in the exact same time. A new feature which will be part of this multi-device support has been spotted.
WhatsApp beta for iOS 184.108.40.206 comes with a brand new’Log out’ attribute, WABetaInfo reported. This feature is thought to be a part of multi-device service, and as the name implies it will likely be used to log out from various connected apparatus. WABetaInfo also shared with a movie presentation of the new feature.
This attribute will essentially let users log from the different apparatus their WhatsApp account is linked to. Based on reports so far, WhatsApp is incorporating support for as many as four devices for just one WhatsApp account. The apparatus might change later on when the feature is recorded. This will be different from WhatsApp Internet as it will enable support for smartphones and tablets. Additionally, it will not need an active internet connection on the main device.
The new log out feature is going to be a part of multi-device support in the future when it rolls out. WABetaInfo added this feature currently works without problems for the two WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. It is available on the latest WhatsApp beta to get iOS but it’s not visible to public beta users yet. WhatsApp is also expected to roll out for Android.
